Welcome to World Pianos (worldpianos.singforhope.org), operated by Sing for Hope, Inc. ("Sing for Hope," "we," "us," or "our"), a nonprofit organization incorporated in New York. By accessing or using this site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About the service

World Pianos is a free, publicly accessible directory of public pianos around the world. We provide location data, status information, and descriptive content to help people find pianos to play. The site is maintained by Sing for Hope volunteers and staff as a community resource.

2. Use of the site

You may use World Pianos for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically download site data at scale without our permission.
• Submit false, misleading, or malicious information (e.g., fake piano locations).
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
• Use the site to send spam or unsolicited communications.
• Reproduce or redistribute site content for commercial purposes without permission.

3. User-submitted content

If you submit a piano location, update, photo, or other content to World Pianos ("User Content"), you grant Sing for Hope a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and use that content as part of the World Pianos directory. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate any third party's rights.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or violates these Terms.

4. Accuracy of information

Piano listings on World Pianos are provided in good faith based on community reports, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is accurate, current, or complete. Piano availability changes frequently. Always verify before making plans to visit. Sing for Hope is not responsible for wasted journeys based on outdated or incorrect listing data.

5. Intellectual property

The World Pianos name, logo, and original site content are owned by Sing for Hope, Inc. and may not be used without permission. Piano location data and community-sourced descriptions are made available for personal, non-commercial use.

6. Third-party links

The site may link to external websites (venue pages, organization sites, etc.). These links are provided for convenience. Sing for Hope is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

World Pianos is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Use the site at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sing for Hope, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
