Stamford (US-CT) - Art in Public Places 2021 - 25 pianos

Each year Stamford Downtown hosts a distinguished outdoor sculpture exhibit designed to attract local, regional and even international audiences. Art in Public Places Outdoor Sculpture exhibit features artwork lining the sidewalks and parks of Downtown Stamford, Connecticut, United States.

About the Pianos The 2021 exhibit, The Piano Project, will bring both art & music to the streets of Stamford Downtown! The fun and interactive exhibit will feature no less than 25 upright pianos designed and painted by local artists. The pianos will be on display all summer for the public to interact with and play!

About the Organizer at Stamford, CT 06901 The Stamford Downtown Special Services District, a Business Improvement District, was established in 1992. Its mission is to manage, enhance and promote the Downtown experience. Besides bringing beauty to the streets, the Stamford Art in Public Places initiative raised over a half a million dollars for selected charities in previews events.
