Love this visual story from 2018 visual artist John Mayson aka ArtJohn: In 2021, responding directly and sensitively to a paired ‘parent’ sculpture, designed and built by Edinburgh based artists Pianodrome.org (beautiful introduction HERE), each piano will be transformed by a local artist/designer who will use their own specialism and media to create their piano.
About the Organizer The Leeds International Piano Competition (better known as The Leeds) is the UK’s national advocate for the piano. Since the first Competition in 1963, it has attracted the world’s finest young pianists. Even more details on LIPC WIKI here.
This year’s organization is a conjuntion with Edinburgh based artists Pianodrome.org. Stay safe and enjoy playing the #LeedsPianoTrail in Great Britain!
